As 2027 approaches, the foundation Liepāja 2027 is expanding its team and announcing three new vacancies – Public Relations Specialist, Lawyer, and Procurement Specialist.
The Communications Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the communication processes of Liepāja 2027, implementing digital communication and public relations projects, coordinating cooperation with partners and media, preparing press materials, and organising public relations activities. The role also includes content creation for different audiences, implementing communication campaigns and analysing results, as well as providing support for the implementation of other Liepāja 2027 projects and initiatives. This is a full-time position with a salary of EUR 1,600 before taxes.

The Lawyer will be responsible for providing legal support in the preparation, review and coordination of contracts, agreements, regulations and other legal documents, as well as assessing legal risks in project implementation. Duties also include advising the organisation’s team on legal matters, monitoring changes in legislation and ensuring their implementation within the organisation, and, where necessary, providing legal support in public procurement matters. The salary for the Legal Advisor is EUR 1,800 before taxes for a full-time position.

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for organising and overseeing procurement processes within the foundation “Liepāja 2027”, ensuring compliance with the Public Procurement Law and the organisation’s internal regulations, as well as participating in procurement committee work. The role also includes organising price surveys and market research, planning and implementing procurement activities within the programme and co-financed projects, preparing documentation and reports, and cooperating with project managers and other teams on procurement matters. This is a full-time position with a salary of EUR 1,800 before taxes.
