Great Amber Concert Hall Begins an Active Concert Season

Within this pilot project, participant will receive training and guidance to plan and execute cultural events tailored to their peers.
Under the inspiring theme “CultureGROWTH. Facing the Future,” this event brings together seasoned and emerging cultural professionals, librarians, museum staff, private sector representatives, and NGOs, as well as anyone with a passion for culture.
The programme is open to anyone interested in invigorating their community – no prior experience is necessary.
The deadline for submissions is 1 October 2024, and all activities must be carried out on 9 November 2024.
The pilot project is designed to equip young people with the necessary training and support to plan and execute cultural events tailored to their peers.
On July 26th and 27th, Kuldīga will celebrate the Old Town Festival with various music and cultural events, theater and circus performances bringing the city’s streets and courtyards to life.
Until the end of the year, it will showcase works by Estonian and Latvian artists that have been inspired by friendly neighbourly relations.
The Cabinet of Ministers on its 9 July meeting has approved* a €10 million allocation from the state budget to support the “Liepāja – European Capital of Culture 2027” programme.
