The Foundation “Liepāja 2027” (Liepāja 2027) has opened two job opportunities, looking to hire a Procurement Lawyer and a Coordinator of Voluntary Activities.
The festival begins on Friday, 27 September at 18:00 with the opening of the visual art exhibition “Growth Stories”, curated by Inese Rozentāle, in the Great Amber Concert Hall’s art space “Civita Nova”.
The cities shortlisted for the title are listed alphabetically: Aveiro (Portugal), Benidorm (Spain), Jūrmala (Latvia), Liepāja (Latvia), Nea Propropontida (Greece), Panevėžys (Lithuania), and Sliven (Bulgaria).
The goal is to support projects that dive deep into the rock tradition of Liepāja, South Kurzeme and Kuldīga regions, amplifying, rocking and “unearthing” its legacy while pushing creative boundaries.
As part of the festival, the “Liepāja 2027 Foundation” (“Nodibinājums Liepāja 2027”) organizes an artist residency.
Application deadline is 6 October 2024.
The autumn season of Liepāja Restaurant Week will run for ten days, covering two weekends— from October 11 to 20 —and will feature 20 different dining establishments in Liepāja.
The partnership between “Liepāja 2027” and “Lux Express” will offer seamless and dependable bus services to Liepāja and all Lux Express destinations, with a strong focus on delivering superior comfort and quality.
With the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra’s season-opening concert, the Great Amber Concert Hall will soon launch an exciting and active concert season.
Within this pilot project, participant will receive training and guidance to plan and execute cultural events tailored to their peers.
