This evening, on March 18, thousands of Liepāja residents gathered in the square by the Concert Hall “Great Amber” to celebrate the city’s 400th anniversary, experiencing the grand festive concert “Personal Code: Liepāja”!
Our gift to the city – the grand concert performance ‘Personal Code: Liepāja,’ which will await every resident of Liepāja and city visitor tonight, March 18th, at 7:00 PM in the parking lot near the ‘Lielais dzintars’ concert hall or via live stream on the replay.lv portal.
Residents will develop projects that integrate water into urban life through architectural interventions, installations, ecosystem enhancements, performances, and other artistic forms.
The masterclass is part of a project supported by the “Liepāja 2027” foundation, co-funded by the Liepāja City Municipality and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Latvia.
Participation in the EU-Japan Fest General Committee Meeting is a significant step in shaping the international program of Liepāja 2027, opening new avenues for collaboration and promoting Latvia’s cultural presence on a global scale.
Residents are encouraged to step forward themselves or nominate someone they believe embodies the spirit of a Liepāja 2027 Ambassador – someone capable of inspiring, uniting, and amplifying the cultural pulse of the region.
The necessary adjustments – traffic restrictions will be in place from 13 to 20 March.
“Liepāja 2027” is inviting two performance artists from the CreArt Network to participate in the Liepāja AiR residency from June 16th to July 17th, 2025.
