Liepāja’s cultural identity is rooted in independent thinking, alternative culture, and creative courage. Liepāja 2027 stands as a symbol of creative freedom, bringing together concerts, performances, talks, and other events through which the city’s untamed cultural heritage is reinterpreted in new forms and contexts. Held across the city’s cultural venues, these diverse events will tell the story of Liepāja as a place where rock is not merely a musical genre, but also a way of thinking and a way of life – a cultural movement that inspires creativity, experimentation, and unexpected artistic discoveries. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the spirit of freedom that defines Liepāja.
