Liepāja 2027 is expanding its team by announcing several new job openings

The Liepāja 2027 Foundation is currently seeking several professionals to join its team as it advances the European Capital of Culture programme, thus announcing new job openings, inviting applications for the positions of Project Manager, International Relations Project Manager, Administrator/Clerk, and Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator.

The Project Manager in Cultural Education and Capacity Building will lead the development and implementation of cooperation, cultural education, and capacity-building projects of the Liepāja 2027 Foundation. This role involves coordinating activities that engage educational and cultural institutions, while also supporting the professional growth of the cultural and creative sectors. The successful candidate must have prior experience in full-cycle project management, including budgeting and the preparation of relevant documentation. The role also entails contributing to external funding initiatives and maintaining close collaboration with partner organisations, experts, as well as national and local authorities. This is a full-time position with a gross monthly salary of EUR 1,800.

To support international outreach, an International Relations Project Manager will be responsible for managing communication projects with a variety of EU and non-EU cultural institutions and foreign partners. Key duties include overseeing communication related to international projects, coordinating relations with international media, and developing digital platform communication strategies. The role also involves maintaining connections with international journalists, PR representatives, embassies, the European Capital of Culture Network, and other stakeholders. This full-time role offers a gross monthly salary of EUR 1,800.

To ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the office, the Liepāja 2027 Foundation invites applications for the position of Administrator-Clerk. The appointed candidate will be responsible for managing daily office operations during the implementation of cultural projects, maintaining document flow in line with internal policies and legal regulations, and overseeing the registration, filing, and archiving of documentation. Proficiency in the use of Lietvaris and Visma HoP software is essential. The ideal candidate will possess excellent record-keeping abilities, strong IT skills, and accuracy in preparing official correspondence, contracts, and other documents to the organisation’s standards. The full-time position offers a gross monthly salary of EUR 1,400.

Finally, a Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator is sought to support the ongoing assessment of the Liepāja 2027 Foundation’s processes. This part-time role involves coordinating work with researchers, overseeing project self-assessment and progress tracking, collecting and analysing data, and liaising with academic and creative sector partners to gather insights. The coordinator will also participate in research activities within the European Capital of Culture Network. We are looking for a part-time professional. The gross monthly salary for this part-time role is EUR 900.
