Clermont-Ferrand in France will host visual artists in a residency programme

The City of Clermont-Ferrand in France invites artists to apply for an open call in which three visual artists will be selected for a two-month residency at Chalet Lecoq. The residency will take place from 26 October to 20 December 2026.

Two of the resident artists will be selected from the CreArt network, and one from the local artist community. The main selection criteria will be artistic quality and the ability to reflect the diversity of contemporary visual arts.

Funding and conditions

  • Application deadline: 21 June 2026
  • Residency support: a €3,000 grant per artist for the two-month period, production costs of €600 per artist, reimbursement of travel expenses for European artists of up to €500, as well as accommodation and workspace at Chalet Lecoq.
