Liepāja 2027 uses rock as a symbol that represents creative freedom, bringing together concerts, performances, talks and other events that revisit the city’s cultural heritage in new forms. Across Liepāja’s cultural venues, these events tell the story of a city where rock is more than a genre – it is a mindset and a way of living. It has inspired creativity, experimentation and unexpected artistic ideas for decades, making us hear free spirit notes that continue to shape Liepāja today.
