Quiz Night “(un)rest Games”

The project “(un)rest Games” is a series of quiz nights offering a contemporary, interactive and socially engaging format. The quiz is presented as a form of cultural expression that combines knowledge, critical thinking, creativity and participation, while creating a dynamic and inclusive cultural experience for diverse audiences.

Over four themed quiz nights, participants will explore and interpret Liepāja’s rock music, alternative culture and free-thinking spirit.

The quiz nights will feature performances by young and emerging musicians from Liepāja, seamlessly integrated into the programme. This approach not only enriches the atmosphere but also provides a platform for young artists, strengthens the local cultural ecosystem and encourages interaction between generations.

Alongside the quizzes, the events will create an informal social environment where participants can meet, discuss, share experiences and make new connections. The project thus serves as a community-building initiative, turning cultural exploration into a social and participatory process. Particular attention will be paid to making the events accessible to different groups in society, fostering inclusivity and diversity.

“(un)rest Games” offers a fresh perspective on cultural experiences – rather than passive observation, it encourages active participation, bringing together knowledge, creativity and social interaction in a lively and engaging process.
