The target audience of “Rock Castling” includes enthusiasts of rock music, alternative culture and Latvian cultural history, particularly the generation associated with the music and subcultures of the 1990s, as well as teenagers and young adults.
The programme will also engage musicians, artists and cultural professionals, encouraging intergenerational dialogue and a deeper understanding of the influence of rock music on social identity and contemporary cultural processes. At the same time, it will highlight Liepāja’s significance as one of Latvia’s most important centres of rock music.
