World-famous Latvian conductor Andris Nelsons has shown a deep interest in Beethoven’s music in recent years. To mark the 200th anniversary of Beethoven’s passing, the Great Amber Concert Hall is delighted and honoured to welcome Andris Nelsons with the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra – one of Europe’s most outstanding symphonic orchestras he is in charge of.

The programme features Beethoven’s Sixth Symphony – the “Pastoral”, and his Seventh Symphony, often described as the “Apotheosis of Dance”.
