The “Liepāja Art Forum 2027” festival opens with a large-format photography exhibition by Belgian photographer Kurt Stallaert. He has put together an impressive series of detailed, soulful portraits of local people whose faces and personal stories capture the heart of Liepāja and its vision for tomorrow.

ver three days, the artist sits down with residents to bring their dream locations to life using AI-generated backdrops, blurring the line between real life and fantasy into a single story.
