Contemporary Light and Sound Installation “Unfading (un)rest”. Project cluster “(Un)rest Land, Tell Us Stories!”

“Unfading (un)rest” brings Liepāja’s cultural heritage to life through a contemporary light‑and‑sound experience at the Pegasus Courtyard. During the day, visitors can explore ceramicist Rūds Pētersons’ urban‑art installation “Pegasus Cup”. In the evening, it becomes the starting point for an audiovisual journey where stories, sounds and light guide visitors through the (un)rest of Kuršu Street and Siena/Tirgus Square.

Light projections, ambient sound and music animate historic scenes, while Varis Siliņš’ narration gives voice and character to the city’s past.

People are welcome to experience the contrasts between the buzz of the market and the calm of the surrounding architecture, between silence and movement, gaining a fresh perspective on Liepāja’s history. The installation is free to visit.
