Environmental Education Event “ŠŪNA” (the CELL)

“ŠŪNA” is a pioneer for environmental awareness and the very first eco-education concept venue of its kind, set up to give a fresh perspective and help us all grasp what’s going on with the climate and our own role in it. “ŠŪNA” bridges science, art, and culture seeking to inform, spark debate, inspire, nudge, and challenge us to put our thinking caps on and take real action.

The eco-education concept venue was first set up back in 2024 by AS “CleanR Grupa”, the leaders behind Latvia’s environmental services. In its maiden year, it set up camp in Rīga before moving on to Cēsis, but come 2027, “ŠŪNA” is heading to Liepāja – the European Capital of Culture, to raise green awareness among locals and visitors in a whole new light.
