“Democracy for Non‑Ideal People” invites everyone to take part in discussions – whether you are raring to change the world or stuck in total proper (un)rest, completely clueless on where to start.
On 28 May, the city witnesses the Vaimanu (Wailing) Choir march, giving us a chance to sing our hearts out about everything that gets on our nerves and what we want to fix. Right after, we clear the air at the Wailing Forum to hash out those exact niggles with the decision-makers and seek real solutions.
Day two is all about giving ourselves a break for being human. At “Failure Stories”, famous faces spill the beans on their own blunders, proving with a laugh that nobody is an ideal person. The programme concludes with the “Democracy Feast” where guests can swap notes and connect with others who actually care.
