Artist Jozef Wouters and his collective Decoratelier work with scenography as a tool for shared living, creating spaces shaped through dialogue, storytelling and collective imagination. In Liepāja’s Karosta residential district, and in close collaboration with the local community, surrounding nature and the area’s layered history, Wouters will develop a multifunctional, everyday space for children of all ages.
The project prioritises accessibility for all residents, documents the creative process, and actively involves both local and international audiences. In doing so, it strengthens public engagement in the shaping of shared outdoor environments and the future of community spaces.
