Nine Projects Win Support in the Liepāja 2027 Cultural Tourism Competition

The Liepāja 2027 Foundation has concluded its cultural tourism co-financing competition “Land of (un)rest, Tell Us Stories!”, announced in October 2025 and aimed at developing innovative and sustainable cultural tourism offers. Following the evaluation, nine projects have been awarded a total of EUR 87,012 in co-financing.

Kaunas invites four visual artists from the CreArt 3.0 Network to participate in a six-week residency at Kaunas Artist-in-Residence (Kaunas AiR), taking place from May 4 to June 14, 2026. The program is open to painters, photographers, and new media artists. Application deadline: 2 March 2026.

11 International Contemporary Art Events to be Added to the Liepāja 2027 Programme

The Liepāja 2027 Foundation has concluded its co-financing competition for international contemporary and multi genre art events, which was announced in June 2025. As a result of the competition, 11 projects with a total value of EUR 640,000 will be supported and implemented across Liepāja, South Kurzeme and the Kuldīga regions in 2027.
