The first activity of the “Interreg Estonia–Latvia” project “Youth Connect” for Liepāja and Tartu has concluded

From 4 to 6 December, the first activities of the “Youth Connect” project, funded by Interreg Estonia–Latvia, took place in Liepāja, where participants of the Liepāja 2027 youth programme collaborated with 24 young people from Tartu.

Photographer Pauls Rietums will represent Latvia in an international residency project in Japan

In July 2025, the Liepāja 2027 Foundation, in cooperation with the Japanese non-profit organisation “EU – Japan Fest,” invited Latvian photographers to apply for the international residency project “European Eyes on Japan | Japan Today”. 64 photographers submitted applications, and 15 of them were shortlisted for the second round.
