Young musicians from Liepāja will present their heartfelt homage to their city, while their counterparts from Tartu will extend a melodious greeting in celebration of this historic milestone.
At the heart of the market, the “Liepāja 2027” stand offered visitors seed packets in red and white tones, encouraging them to start their spring planting in the anniversary month.
These skills will be essential as they gradually develop a cultural event concept that will be evaluated by a jury.
On 29 and 30 August, the Great Amber Concert Hall in Liepāja will open its doors to the international photo conference “Vision & Voices 2025: Photography for a Connected World”.
These are leading media networking events in Europe, gathering tourism professionals and media representatives from all over the world.
The concert featured new compositions by renowned composers with deep ties to Liepāja—Ēriks Ešenvalds, Jānis Lūsēns, and Andris Kontauts—alongside historic musical pieces from the cathedral’s archives.
