In a pioneering move set to redefine public gatherings, Liepāja announces its step toward sustainability with the launch of a pilot project introducing deposit system at public events.

Flights are scheduled from July 11 to July 22, and from August 1 to August 5, operating twice a week.

The Council is slated to operate until July 1, 2028.‍

The study will analyse the impact of this project on socio-economic development, public engagement, and cultural identity in Liepāja, the South Kurzeme and Kuldīga regions ((Un)Rest Land).
