Liepāja 2027 is hiring a Project Manager

The Foundation “Liepāja 2027” is inviting applications for the position of Project Manager.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the project management of the Liepāja 2027 Foundation programme within your area of responsibility, managing a diverse project portfolio;
  • Deliver full-cycle project management, including budget planning, documentation, implementation and reporting;
  • Coordinate event production, partner communication and the delivery of various collaborative project activities;
  • Supervise the implementation of selected projects carried out by Liepāja 2027 core partners;
  • Other duties as required.

Required Experience:

At least 5 years of experience in managing collaborative projects within the cultural sector, including event production. Experience coordinating international projects shall be considered an advantage.

Salary: EUR 1800 gross (full-time)

Representatives of European Capitals of Culture from 22 countries to gather in Liepāja

From 9 to 12 September, Liepāja will host the international European Capitals of Culture network meeting “ECoC Family Meeting 2026”. The event is jointly organised by the two upcoming European Capitals of Culture for 2027 — Liepāja and the Portuguese city of Évora — and will bring together 87 participants from 22 countries.
