The XVII International Accordion Competition “Ascoltate 2026” Announces an Open Call

PE Artkomas, in collaboration with the Kaunas Accordion Society, J. Gruodis Conservatory, and Kaunas 1st Music School, invites young accordionists to participate in the XVII International Accordion Competition “Ascoltate 2026”, taking place on 27–28 November 2026 in Kaunas, Lithuania.

The competition is open to young accordionists of various age groups from the CreArt Network cities. Participants may apply as soloists or as members of ensembles or orchestras. The number of participants is limited, and the first 100 applications will be accepted.

Funding and Conditions

  • Application deadline: 24 October 2026
  • The competition will take place in a single live round and performances will be evaluated by an international professional jury.
  • There is no participation fee for applicants from the CreArt Network.
  • Competition winners will receive Grand Prix awards, as well as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize diplomas and trophies, together with valuable prizes. Special awards will also be presented to teachers in recognition of their outstanding contribution to preparing the laureates.
