On Friday, June 12, from 17:00 to 18:00 everyone interested is invited to participate in an ideas workshop for the project “(un)Peaceful Path of Light: The Story of Aizpute,” which will take place at Pilskrogs, 20 Liepājas Street, Aizpute, as part of the “Liepāja – European Capital of Culture 2027” programme.
This masterclass will provide an opportunity to collaboratively develop ideas for a unique light installation that could illuminate Aizpute in the future and become part of the town’s shared narrative.
During the masterclass, participants will be introduced to the project concept and work together to generate ideas for the design of light installations, create initial sketches, and develop visual solutions. Discussions will also explore Aizpute’s identity and how it can be reflected through light. The most promising concepts will then be selected for further development.
No special knowledge or prior experience is required to participate – everyone who wishes to get involved and contribute to Aizpute’s future story of light is welcome. Children, young people, families, adults, and seniors are all invited to take part.
Bring your ideas and join us in creating Aizpute’s story of light together!
