As part of its participation in the European CreArt program, the city of Rouen invites artists to apply for a joint residency at “Centre Culturel André-Malraux”. One artist will be selected from Rouen and one artist internationally. Artists from Liepāja are invited to use this opportunity.
This call is intended for professional visual artists with a wild range of mediums: drawing, engraving, illustration, video, installation, collage, new media, painting, performance, photography, sculpture, design, textile, graphics, micro-editing. A particular attention will be paid to artists who interrogate the environmental impact of artistic production in their work.
The theme of the residency is “happy futures”. It will switch between periods of individual research and creation and period of collaborative works, involving teenagers through workshops during the school holidays. The workshops will have to be carried out with the Rouen artist also selected for this joint residency.

Rock the Rock: Open Call for Co-Financing Projects to Shape Liepāja 2027
The Liepāja 2027 Foundation (Liepāja 2027) has announced an open co-financing competition for projects that would add a spark to the core Liepāja 2027 programme series “Rock the Rock” in 2027. Applications must be submitted by 7 April 2026.
