The City of Lublin (Poland) invites two visual artists to participate in an international artists’ residency taking place 13–21 September 2026 as part of the “Festiwal na Złotej” (Festival on Złota Street). The residency is organized within the framework of the CreArt 3.0 project, co-funded by the European Union’s Creative Europe Programme. Application deadline: 27 July 2026.

PE Artkomas, in collaboration with the Kaunas Accordion Society, J. Gruodis Conservatory, and Kaunas 1st Music School, invites young accordionists to participate in the XVII International Accordion Competition “Ascoltate 2026”, taking place on 27–28 November 2026 in Kaunas, Lithuania. On Saturday, August 22, from 13.00 – 16.00, in Aizpute, at Jāņa Street 10, as part of the “Liepāja – European Capital of Culture 2027” all residents of Aizpute are invited to participate in a creative workshop for creating light installations as part of the project “The Path of (un)rest Light: The Story of Aizpute,” to make a light installation for their window to be lit during the dark time of year.

The closing event for the second round of the Liepāja – European Capital of Culture 2027 community strengthening programme, “Neighbourliness”, will take place on Wednesday, 29 July, at the “Brīvības osta” hotel venue in Aizpute.

On Thursday, 16 July, representatives of Liepāja 2027 attended the official reception marking the conclusion of the State Visit of the President of Latvia, Edgars Rinkēvičs, to the Republic of Lithuania.

The contemporary art exhibition “At Ease!” organised by the Liepāja 2027 Foundation, has been extended and will now remain on view in the display windows at 36/38 Graudu Street until 28 August 2026.

On October 2, 2026, from 10:00 to 17:30 the Kuldīga Art House will host the International Forum “Historic Gardens and Gardens in Historic Areas,” featuring experienced specialists from Latvia and abroad who will share their expertise on the maintenance and restoration of historic gardens, as well as the creation of new gardens in historic settings.
