Liepāja 2027 Youth Club Hosts Personal Sustainability Workshop

17. June, 2026

On Wednesday, 17 June, the workshop “A Compass for Happy People and a Healthy Planet” took place, during which participants, guided by social innovator Paula Cukura, explored methods for setting personal goals and worked practically with their values, motivation, and other aspects of personal sustainability.

The workshop was organised as part of the Liepāja 2027 Erasmus+ project “ECoC Youth Clubs”. The content of the event was developed by the informal collective generation within the GearUP project, supported by the association Free Riga.
As part of the Erasmus+ project “ECoC Youth Clubs”, five workshops for young people will take place between June and December in Liepāja, as well as in České Budějovice and Évora. Participants will develop skills in project writing and implementation, gain insight into the work of non-governmental organisations, strengthen their leadership and personal development competencies, and acquire other skills essential for youth participation. Graduates of the Liepāja 2027 youth programme, along with other active young people, are invited to take part in the Youth Club’s activities.

A sincere thank you to workshop facilitator Paula and all participants for their engagement, openness, and the inspiring atmosphere they created. We look forward to seeing you at future Liepāja 2027 Youth Club activities!
