“Liepāja 2027” announces job openings: Project Director and Public Relations Specialist

The Foundation “Liepāja 2027” is announcing two vacancies, inviting applications for the positions of Project Director and Public Relations Specialist.

Project Director

Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development and timely implementation of projects within the programme of the Foundation “Liepāja 2027”.
• Monitor the delivery of projects included in the official Liepāja 2027 application and contribute to the strategic development of the programme;
• Facilitate communication and cooperation with programme partners;
• Evaluate and develop project proposals in collaboration with partners, contributing to the co-creation of content;
• Manage open calls, including announcement, application review and selection coordination;

Required Experience:

• Minimum three years of experience in managing collaborative projects in the cultural field;
• Experience leading and coordinating international projects will be considered an advantage.

Salary: EUR 2000 before tax (full-time position)

Public Relations Specialist

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure the communication of the Liepāja 2027 programme, including event descriptions;
• Develop and deliver public relations and digital communication initiatives across various channels;
• Coordinate communication with national and international partners, media, and cultural institutions;
• Prepare and distribute press releases, organise interviews, media visits and other public-facing activities;
• Promote Liepāja’s image as a European Capital of Culture on both national and international stages;
• Create and adapt content for digital platforms tailored to diverse audiences;

Required Experience:

• Minimum five years of professional experience managing communication for diverse projects;
• Experience with different communication analytics tools.

Salary: EUR 1800 before tax (full-time position)
