Évora 2027 – European Capital of Culture announces an open call for artists from around the world

The Portuguese city announces the open call “Our Lab” welcoming creative minds to submit works in theater, dance, music, circus, street art, opera, architecture, design, new media, and cross-disciplinary projects.
Selected works will be presented throughout Évora and the Alentejo region in 2027 across a range of cultural, heritage, public, urban, and natural spaces, forming part of the official artistic programme of Évora 2027 – European Capital of Culture.
Funding and terms
- Deadline for applications: January 13
- Budget: 2 million EUR
- Who can apply: artists, whether individually or collectively, as well as legal entities of a private or public nature, residing or headquartered in Europe (except Portugal) or outside Europe, with proven experience in the fields for which they are applying.
