Karas Art Hub, operated by the Croatian Association of Fine Artists (HDLU), is an iconic space in the contemporary art scene.
As part of the EU project CreART 3.0, KARAS+KVART invites artists to engage in the creation of art in public spaces in the gallery’s surrounding neighborhood in Zagreb.
The project will be a collaboration between a local artist and an international artist selected through an open call.
The program offers
- 3-week residency in October 2025.
- Collaboration with a local artist to create new artwork for the public space.
- Accommodation, travel expenses, artistic fee, and a production budget of 5,000 EUR are provided.
Application requirements
Artists must submit:
- A scanned copy of an ID card or passport
- A motivational letter (max 500 words) and a brief project description (one A4 page)
- CV in English
- Portfolio (PDF format, max 7 MB)
- Registration on the CreArt website and portfolio upload
