

The city of Lublin invites two artists to work creatively as part of the Open Form festival organized, among others, in the innovative artistic space – The Academy of Modern Art in Lublin. The artistic residency will last from August 22 to 31, 2025.
The Academy of Modern Art is open to various forms of artistic expression and focuses on authenticity, inclusiveness and community – created with passion by people of all ages.
This residency is for artists working in the field of visual arts, with particular emphasis on practices related to public space: graffiti, street art, murals, installations, typography and site-specific activities. The Academy is interested in works created at the intersection of disciplines, combining different media, techniques and perspectives, also from the area of graphic design, photography, text and performative activities.
Grants and conditions:
- Application deadline: June 30
- There is no age limitation
- Artist fee of €700 gross
- Production costs (if needed) of new artwork(s) up to €300 gross
- The organizer provides reimbursement of travel costs (return flight or bus tickets), accommodation and meals (two meals a day)

To enrich the programme of Liepāja – European Capital of Culture 2027 with innovative, cross-sectoral, contemporary and outstanding cultural events, hence boosting the international cooperation, the Liepāja 2027 Foundation is launching an open international competition for the co-financing of cultural and artistic initiatives. The deadline for submissions is 10:00 a.m. (EEST/Latvian time) on 10 September 2025.
