Party. Rave. Audiovisual Dance

The “Liepāja Art Forum 2027” opening party sets the stage alight with an Algorave – a real-time, live coding audiovisual dance event where you can watch algorave professionals shape the tech while the tech shapes them. Algorave is part of a bigger movement bringing together club culture and computer-driven creativity, offering a human, improvised counterweight to pre-baked AI art that feels a bit like jazz jamming. Curated by live coding pros Patrick Borgeat from Germany and Fabian van Sluijs from the Netherlands, the night invites everyone to let their hair down, hit the dance floor, and grab a drink while coders from across Europe spin up live beats and visuals on the spot.
