Liepāja Theatre Performance “Against Elections” in Collaboration with “Dead Centre” (Ireland)

Liepāja Theatre will open its 2027/2028 season with the performance “Against Elections” (based on the same-title book by David Van Reybrouck) in collaboration with the Irish theatre company “Dead Centre”. Created in collaboration with the acclaimed Irish theatre company led by playwrights and directors Bush Moukarzel and Ben Kidd, the production promises to be a distinctive artistic experience for the Liepāja Theatre ensemble, its creative and technical teams, and audiences alike.

The project aims to spark dialogue on civic participation and the role of citizens in shaping politically and socially significant decisions, using theatre as a platform for reflection and engagement.
