Liepaja Open Cultural Courtyard

On Sunday, August 23, at 13:00, a concert featuring ethnic minority communities will take place in the courtyard of the Liepāja Lithuanian Cultural Association “Rūta” at Alejas Street 9, Liepāja.

Ethnic minority associations from Liepāja and the surrounding area are invited to participate. The aim of the event is to bring together communities of various nationalities in one place, introduce visitors to their cultures, music, and traditions, and promote mutual cooperation and cultural dialogue.

Participants:

• SENOLIAI, an ensemble of the Lithuanian Cultural Society RŪTA in Liepāja;
• VERBIČEŅKA, an ensemble of the Liepāja Ukrainian Society;
• ŽIVICA, an ensemble of the Slavic Society in Saldus;
• BURSZTYNKI, an ensemble of the Polish Society VANDA in Liepāja;
• MORGENROT, an ensemble of the German Society in Riga;
• KURZEMĪTE, an ensemble of the Liepāja Social Services Day Centre;
• ZUSAMMEN SEIN, an ensemble of the German Society in Liepāja;
• JARILO, an ensemble of the Liepāja UNISONS Society.

Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a diverse concert program and explore the cultural heritage of different communities.
