International competition in Kaunas for young accordionists

CreArt Network partner PE Artkomas, Kaunas accordion society, Kaunas J.Gruodis conservatory, Kaunas 1th music school is organizing the XVI International Accordion Competition “Ascoltate 2025” that will take place at Kaunas J.Gruodis conservatory concert hall in November 28 – 29, 2025.

The competition is open for young accordionists of different ages – in any of the cities taking part in the CreArt | Network of Cities for Artistic Creation.

• Application deadline: September 14
• Accordionists can participate as soloists or as members of an ensemble or an orchestra
• The number of participants is limited. The organizing committee will admit the first 100 application forms of the candidates from CreArt Network cities
• Travelling and accommodation costs are at the expense of the participants and their accompanists
• For participants from CreArt Network partner PE Artkomas will cover participation fee

Prizes:

• Grand Prix winners and their teachers will receive diplomas and valuable prizes
• Diplomas and cups will be handed to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners.
• The teachers of the laureates will be handed diplomas for their highest professional skills
