Open Call for Land/Environmental Art Artists in Kaunas

CreArt Kaunas and Kaunas Artists’ House invite land and environmental art creators to design installations in public spaces along the Nemunas River in Kaunas.

Plein-air period: May 11–25, 2025
Artwork presentation: May 24, 2025, during the “Let’s Celebrate the River!” festival

What are the organisers looking for?

• Art made from natural, biodegradable materials, integrating into the local landscape
• Creative projects inspired by water, nature, stories, and community life. Weather-resistant, public-safe artworks.

What is the offer?

• Artist fee: €1,000
• Coverage of travel and accommodation costs (up to €400 for travel, up to 15 days of accommodation)
• Materials budget of up to €1,000
• Technical support, promotion, and professional documentation
