“The Path of (un)rest” is a cultural audio walk through central Liepāja, getting people out to explore the city while moving through it. The route links key landmarks from Rose Square to the Holy Trinity Cathedral, revealing Liepāja’s identity and its (un)rest spirit, and creating a layered experience in which the city becomes like a living storybook.
Written by local-born dramaturgist Rasa Bugavičute‑Pēce, it is available in Latvian and English on the izi.TRAVEL app and can be enjoyed individually at any time using a smartphone and headphones. On the opening day, there will be something a bit special – the chance to experience the audio story in a format with live performances that introduce the five (un)rest programme lines. Guided group walks will take place with prior registration.
