Liepāja 2027 announces a new vacancy – Project Manager

The Liepāja 2027 Foundation invites a Project Manager to join its team.

We are looking for a professional who will ensure full-cycle management and oversight of Liepāja 2027 programme projects — from budget planning and preparation of documentation to event production and implementation of collaborative projects. The role includes project supervision, involvement in externally funded projects, cooperation with local and international partners, monitoring cultural project development trends in Latvia and abroad, and ensuring the timely completion of tasks within their area of responsibility.

The Liepāja 2027 Foundation is tasked with preparing and implementing a diverse programme of cultural events as part of the European Capital of Culture 2027 initiative. The programme will run until 2028 and will encompass cross-sectoral activities that promote socio-economic growth, boost tourism, support the creative industries, and foster collaboration across public, private, and non-governmental sectors. It also aims to attract financial resources from European Union funds and private investors to ensure long-term benefits for the city and its community.
