The third Kurzeme Culture Forum brings together more than 200 participants

The third Kurzeme Cultural Forum took place on September 11 at the Nīca Culture House, bringing together more than 200 cultural professionals, artists, students, and other interested parties from across the region.
From multiple perspectives, the forum explored the theme “Cultural Growth. Synergy.” It examined the interaction between culture and education, the latest results from the Cultural Barometer survey, and various facets of the cultural sector, highlighting their impact on everyday life.
Inspiring presentations, engaging discussion sessions on “Culture and Education” and “Culture and Self-Esteem,” performances, and personal stories showcased the strength and diversity of Kurzeme’s cultural landscape.
The forum was organized by the South Kurzeme Municipality. It was supported by the foundation Liepāja 2027, with additional financial support received within the framework of the “Kurzeme Culture Programme 2025”, implemented by the Kurzeme Planning Region in the VKKF target program “Development Programme for Historical Latvian Lands.'”
