On Saturday, 11 April, the Liepāja 2027 (un)rest story was officially presented as part of the festival’s vibrant programme.
The refined and melodic character of Liepāja was brought to life by the singer, multi-instrumentalist and composer Shipsea. Meanwhile, the true spirit of (un)rest swept into the Telliskivi Creative City alongside the powerful and energetic sound of the folk-rock group Alum Alu.
This meeting created a unique moment that allowed audiences not only to hear but to genuinely feel the shared rhythm of the Baltic region — its openness, creative energy, and constant evolution. It was an encounter that highlighted how culture can connect places, people, and ideas across borders.
Thank you for such a warm and generous welcome, Tallinn — we truly felt it and will carry that feeling with us. Until we meet again in Liepāja!
