The lifelong learning course series by Liepāja 2027 and RTU Liepāja Academy has begun
The Liepāja 2027 Foundation (Liepāja 2027), in collaboration with RTU Liepāja Academy, has launched a new lifelong learning course titled “5 Steps to a Good Event”. The programme forms part of the Liepāja 2027 capacity-building initiative and is designed to strengthen the professional skills of cultural workers, creatives and young specialists, while supporting the long-term cultural development of Liepāja, South Kurzeme and the Kuldīga region.
The series opened on 20 March from 14:00 to 18:00 with the class “From Idea to Event: Creative Production”, led by director and broadcast host Marta Selecka.
For several hours, participants explored the story behind “Tutas lietas”, learning how the project evolved from a simple idea into a multifaceted initiative loved by both children and adults. They also learned about the role of a creative producer and the qualities required for the job.
Participants had the opportunity to develop their own project concepts and key components. Everyone left feeling inspired to create and bring their own ideas to life.
The project is implemented with the support of the EU Creative Europe programme CreArt 3.0 #STRINGING_TOGETHER. The Liepāja 2027 Foundation is a project partner.
