The first open calls of the “European Workshop for Culture and Democracy” are finally online and project ideas and concepts can be submitted.

You can participate in the following 3 open calls :

  • Open call Nr. 01/23: Soft Skills Academy I – Capacity building and networking programme for project ideas
  • Open call Nr. 03/23: CZ-PL-DE – Cross-border cooperation with partners in the Czech Republic, Poland and Germany
  • Open call Nr. 04/23: – Projects for young and older people

Open Call for Writers for a Residency in Chemnitz, Germany

he Cultural Department of the City of Chemnitz is offering a scholarship for a literary producer’s residency from April 1, 2026. The scholarship will enable people to engage more intensively with the past and present of life in the city of Chemnitz and the region. The application deadline is September 14.
