Liepāja residents know how to throw their own celebrations and parties!
Despite the fact that due to the national lockdown, the walk “Illuminated Liepāja” previously planned for this weekend was cancelled, we are glad that the residents of Liepāja answered the call and cheer together with their neighbours by illuminating their own houses and properties!
Just look at the (un)rest video in a building on Rīgas Street here
To create a brighter and happier mood among the residents of Liepāja during this dark and somber time, we invite other residents to light up their own houses and yards.
Every local company and residents are welcome to join this campaign by creating a light object on the facades, windows and doors of their buildings and properties.
Your flight of idea may be as creative and bold as you wish, free to choose colours, shapes and ways to decorate your homes or business buildings, taking into account this year’s concept of the Liepāja European Capital of Culture 2027 – the topic of (un)rest!
