Liepāja culture field professionals and experts together seek solutions to reach idle residents

At the end of the working week, the professionals organizing the cultural life of Liepāja, as part of the work towards the title of European Capital of Culture 2027 gathered in the cultural space “Wiktorija” to look for ways to reach out to and engage residents in the different neighbourhoods of the city who have so far rarely attended cultural events.
Cultural experts took on the roles of different groups of residents and together came up with proposals to reach out to a wide range of target groups – young people and families with children, foreigners, people with various disabilities, the elderly and people from all social backgrounds.
The proposals will be useful both now, while planning different cultural events, and in the future to get to know the people living in each neighbourhood even better.
Thank you everyone for your participation and work together!
