“Liepāja Art Forum” will kick off with an extravagant French salon music evening
On Friday, 30 September at 19.00, on the opening night of the contemporary art festival “Liepāja Art Forum”, we will spend an extraordinary evening of salon music together with the talented and experienced French trio “Surel, Segal & Gubitsch”.
The “Surel, Segal, Gubitsch” trio is an exciting blend of three unique characters and voices – Sebastien on violin, Vincent on cello and Tomás on electric guitar. In their upcoming concert, the trio will accompany the audience on a journey through a world of musical genres, from Argentine tango to sound experiments, thanks to their original compositions and exciting improvisations.
The festival’s opener is conceived as a salon music evening, reflecting back to a romantic world of music and art being enjoyed in the comfort of one’s living room at home with friends.
“Sebastien, Vincent and Tomás are incredibly entertaining, musical personalities, great composers and improvisers who create a surprisingly unpredictable, thought-provoking musical conversation with each other,” says Baiba Bartkeviča, Artistic Director of the Great Amber Concert Hall, speaking about the trio and the concert.
