At the end of March, Liepāja 2027’s amazing volunteers are taking part in an unprecedented and widely resonant event in Liepāja—warmly welcoming visitors to the Great Amber Concert Hall, where the Academy Award (“Oscar”) and other prestigious accolades won by the film Straume are on display for everyone to see up close.
Their responsibilities include coordinating visitor flow and ensuring a pleasant event experience.
From March 19 to 23, the “Great Amber” Hall offers the chance to view the highest awards won by the animated film “Flow” (“Straume”). Thanks to collaboration with the
Latvian National Museum of Art and the film’s team, visitors can see:
- The European Film Academy Award (in the category “Best European Feature-Length Animated Film of the Year”),
- The Golden Globe Award (in the category “Best Motion Picture – Animated”),
- The Academy Award (Oscar) in the category “Best Animated Feature Film.”
These prestigious awards will be on display in the concert hall’s first floor during the following hours: March 19 and 20: 11:00 AM–5:00 PM; March 21: 11:00 AM–6:00 PM; March 22 and 23: 10:00 AM–5:00 PM.
