On Tuesday, 24 March, the “Lielais Dzintars” Concert Hall hosted the Tourism Entrepreneurs’ Conference, bringing together professionals from the tourism sector across Kurzeme.
The conference was organised to support the development of the industry, offering up-to-date insights into tourism trends, export opportunities, marketing and sales tools, as well as updates on Liepāja’s preparations as the European Capital of Culture 2027.
During the event, participants had the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge from industry experts, explore regional development initiatives, and learn practical solutions to strengthen their businesses. The conference also provided extensive networking opportunities and a platform for exchanging experiences with fellow tourism professionals.
In the afternoon, tourism entrepreneurs from Liepāja, South Kurzeme, and Kuldīga shared their experiences, demonstrating that the entire land of (un)rest is becoming a strong centre for collaboration and cultural innovation, where local businesses and tourism initiatives can develop creatively.
