Journalists from the United Kingdom are visiting Kuldīga and Liepāja
This week, the Land of (un)rest welcomed British journalists Rudolf Abraham and Trevor Claringbold, who explored Latvia’s rich traditions, people, and multifaceted history with genuine curiosity and enthusiasm.
In Kuldīga, the journalists wandered through its picturesque streets and UNESCO-listed treasures, while in Liepāja they visited the House of Craftsmen, the “Great Amber” concert hall, and enjoyed the fresh sea breeze at the Northern Fort.
Rudolf Abraham specializes in cultural and nature-based travel, focusing on sustainable tourism and discovering lesser-known destinations. His work has appeared in “The Guardian”, “BBC Travel”, “National Geographic Traveller”, and “The Independent”. Trevor Claringbold, meanwhile, writes for “Globetrotter Magazine” — a publication cherished by travel enthusiasts across the United Kingdom.
Together, they will carry the story of the Land of (un)rest out into the world, sharing its hidden gems and inspiring others to discover the charm of Kurzeme.
Special thanks to the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia and the Liepāja Regional Tourism Information Office for their collaboration in organizing the visit!
