Europe Day is celebrated in a series of events across Europe and Latvia on 9 May.
Events have been running since the first days of May and will continue throughout the month.
Through a range of events and activities organised by Latvian people, organisations and businesses, this year we will raise awareness of the potential for growth as Europeans, solidarity, cultural diversity and the values that unite us.
We can feel proud of our country and of belonging to a Europe that strives to be the greenest continent in the world, promotes the development of new skills and strengthens its competitiveness among other countries.
Let us celebrate Europe’s unity and power together, joining our events with family, friends and colleagues.
