Invitation to an educational seminar on international funding opportunities
Representatives of the Liepāja non-governmental sector and various organisations will have the opportunity to build their capacity and to master new knowledge by attending an educational seminar on attracting funding from a number of international and local funds on Tuesday, 31 January, at 16.00, at 5 Peldu Street.
The European Capital of Culture 2027 team will give an overview of the international funding opportunities, while Anete Grundberga, board member of the “Green and Smart Technologies Cluster”, and Zane Feldmane, board member of the “Impact Hub Liepāja”, will share their practical tips and experience on how to write a project, issues to consider when choosing the right funding, ways to attract cooperation partners, etc.
Building the capacity of local organisations, improving their knowledge, and learning how to cooperate with different European countries and cities is one of the priorities of the European Capital of Culture 2027 programme, encouraging not only to attract foreign funding but also to forge mutually beneficial international partnerships.
A number of capacity-building, educational and awareness-raising activities will be carried-out throughout the European Capital of Culture 2027 programme.
