Current vacancies at Liepāja 2027: Cultural Tourism Project Manager and Public Relations Specialist

The Foundation “Liepāja 2027” is announcing two vacancies and invites applications for the positions of Cultural Tourism Project Manager and Public Relations Specialist.

Main responsibilities of the Cultural Tourism Project Manager:

• Lead cooperation and cultural tourism projects within the Liepāja 2027 programme;
• Coordinate activities aimed at tourism product development and collaboration with the tourism and hospitality sectors;
• Manage the full project cycle, including budgeting, preparation of documentation, and reporting;
• Ensure event production, partner communication, and implementation of various cooperation project activities;
• And other duties as required.

The Cultural Tourism Project Manager must have at least five years of professional experience managing collaborative projects in the cultural or tourism sectors and in event production.

Salary: EUR 1800 gross (full-time)

Public Relations Specialist

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure the communication of the Liepāja 2027 programme, including event descriptions;
• Develop and deliver public relations and digital communication initiatives across various channels;
• Coordinate communication with national and international partners, media, and cultural institutions;
• Prepare and distribute press releases, organise interviews, media visits and other public-facing activities;
• Promote Liepāja’s image as a European Capital of Culture on both national and international stages;
• Create and adapt content for digital platforms tailored to diverse audiences;
  Required Experience:
• Minimum five years of professional experience managing communication for diverse projects;
• Experience with different communication analytics tools.

Salary: EUR 1800 before tax (full-time position)
