We are pleased and delighted that not only organizations from Liepāja, but also from entire Kurzeme region are actively involved in the European Capital of Culture 2027 process.
Bearing in mind that the Kurzeme NGO Centre has been working in the NGO sector for more than 20 years, we invited the Centre’s specialists to share their experience in ensuring public participation in various city processes and to make proposals on how to develop and successfully establish the Liepāja NGO Incubator.
Before the Kurzeme NGO Centre brings its vision to the EKG2027 team, the experts would like to consult the potential target audience of the incubator – residents of Liepāja, South Kurzeme and Kuldīga region.
The Zoom meeting will take place on October 28.
During the meeting, the representatives of the Kurzeme NGO Centre will briefly present their vision, but the main goal is to understand what the needs of the associations, foundations and active residents of Liepāja and the surrounding regions would be.
We welcome to participate everybody who is interested to come forward with their ideas, proposals and discussion topics, you don’t necessarily need to be from Liepāja or the region, as it is possible that if this idea is successfully implemented, such incubators could develop elsewhere in Latvia.
The meeting will take place on 28 October from 16.00 to 17.30.
